Hiking

Tourists, both hikers and cyclists, are in our country like in paradise, in the Bohemian Paradise. The offer of excursions is so varied that one would need to spend several holidays at our campsite in order to visit, explore and admire everything. Castles, chateaus, rock towns, viewpoints, ponds, reserves, towns... There is simply a lot, but our information centres (IC) at the reception (IC) or in the Arboretum Bukovina work great and will advise everyone according to their wishes and possibilities. In addition, we offer a special KUDYCAMP guide at the IC at the reception.

Description

WHERE TO GO ?

The landscape around the campsite is perfect for planning trips. In our info centre you can buy maps or the printed guide "Kudycamp", in which our staff have summarised their tips for hikes and tourist attractions in the area.

RESPECT THE PROTECTED NATURE

The rock towns and the landscape around the campsite are located in the Bohemian Paradise Protected Landscape Area. It is the oldest large-scale protected area in the Czech Republic, which has been protected as a unique jewel of the Czech landscape for 70 years (until 2025). The romantic landscape here hides a number of sandstone rock towns and many other natural and historical attractions.

In the Bohemian Paradise Protected Landscape Area, it is therefore necessary to respect the rules of nature protection, especially not to drive cars off the roads and reserved areas, including forest and field paths. It is also forbidden to damage plants and disturb animals, to deposit and dispose of waste, to camp, to build and maintain fires outside the designated areas.

The Hruboskalské rock town is located near the campsite. In this area, which is a natural monument, it is necessary to observe the rules of its protection during excursions. This is especially to move on paths and marked hiking trails, cyclists only on marked cycle paths, and take your rubbish with you. Keep your animal companions on a leash and do not enter caves or under overhangs to avoid disturbing their inhabitants.

If you move through nature attentively and without noise, you will enjoy our unique landscape in all its charm and beauty.
